The Brain Project - First Installment

before it is turned on
the idea

My goal here is to construct a framework for the programming and construction of the first true AI, one that develops its own personality based on its own experiences. No prior knowledge of the world need be programmed into this AI as it begins fresh, with a framework similar in function to that of a human brain, but no data yet stored. Through years of introspection and self observation, I have learned many of the ways my own brain assesses and stores data, including what information is stored and what is tossed through backing up processes and why this is so. I will be modeling this AI framework after myself and how I've come to understand how I function.

This will be the deepest introspection of my mind ever. I will also attempt to create something resembling emotions by logical processes behind feelings and previous data that it has stored through its experiences. It will have a sense of self and its place in the world, but only as it develops naturally.

The framework is based around probability and logical systems, the functioning of which is programmed directly into the AI's "brain" before any sensory experiences have even been received. The path to this seems clear to me in my experiences with formal logic, mathematics, programming, and my ability of the deepest introspection.

Theoretically, it should work.

Next, I will be covering the senses and their function, including the storage of said information, and the various ways in which the data is used to connect with previous data, forming connections with similar ideas and previous experiences to analyze its sensory input and react accordingly.
